At Mayflower Preschool, the love for learning starts at the beginning.
Open Enrollment begins Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Online registration opens at 8:00 AM. Placements are made based on the order in which online enrollment is received. Please select more than one choice if possible. Wait-lists will automatically be created. Placement letters will be mailed by January 26, 2024.
There is a $75 non-refundable registration fee ($65/each for additional siblings) and the first month's tuition (50% of reimbursement will be refunded if withdrawal before July 1). All fees are due at time of enrollment. For withdrawals prior to the start of class in September 2024, half of your first month’s tuition deposit amount will be refunded providing the Director is notified of the withdrawal prior to July 1.
The following class(es) have openings for the 24/25 School Year. If you wish to enroll in ​one of our other classes you will automatically be placed on a waitlist.

Young Three’s Program
Our Young Threes class is designed for our youngest learner. Our teachers instill a love of learning through a nurturing and caring environment by incorporating songs, stories, and educational games into each class. There are two teachers and a maximum of 12 students. Available for students who are turning three after September 1, 2024 and before January 1, 2025.
Three’s Program
Our Three-Year-Old class provides a nurturing atmosphere in which children’s introduction to the educational process is accepting, inviting, and encouraging. Teachers assist students in experiencing a positive separation from home, providing opportunities to work with various media forms, developing listening skills, offering opportunities for large and small motor development, exposing students’ to reading, writing, and math concepts, encouraging growth in social development, and promoting an awareness of health and safety. The students are introduced to Zoophonics, and Handwriting Without Tears. There are two teachers and a maximum of 14 students. Available for students who are turning three on or before September 1, 2024.

Three’s / Fours Program
Our combined 3/4 class builds on all educational concepts, including math, science, and ​literature, as well as social, emotional, and physical growth. There are many opportunities ​for making choices, becoming independent thinkers, and developing confidence. Our ​students have weekly Zoophonics and Handwriting Without Tears lessons. The class has ​two teachers and a maximum of 16 students. Available for students who are turning three ​on or by September 1, 2024.
Four’s Program
Our Four-Year-Old class further develops all educational concepts introduced in our 3’s program including math, science, and literature, as well as social, emotional, and physical growth. There are many opportunities for making choices, becoming independent thinkers, and developing confidence. Our students have weekly Zoophonics, and Handwriting Without Tears lessons. There are two teachers and a maximum of 16 students. Available for students who are turning four on or by September 1, 2024.
Young Five’s Program
This program is designed to give preschoolers who may need an extra year of learning and ​growing before entering kindergarten. It is recommended that children be able to cut with ​scissors independently, write their name, and recognize letters and numbers. Although ​there is free choice/play in this class, it is more curriculum driven. The teachers expand on ​phonics, handwriting without tears, number and letter recognition, sight words and STEM ​units. There are two teachers and a maximum of 18 students. Available for students who ​will reach the age of 5 by January 1, 2025 and recommended for students who have ​completed a 4's program.
Multi-Age Enrichment
Our Enrichment programs offers students the opportunity to participate in an extended preschool curriculum. Teachers focus on music enrichment, adventurous story time, seasonal baking, yoga, and quiet time. For children enrolled in a MWF morning session or a Young Five’s child. There are two teachers for our Enrichment class. This is a multi-age program for students who are turning three by September 1, 2024.
Parent Council
The Mayflower Preschool Parent Council mission is to encourage and facilitate communication between and among parents, teachers, and administration. Additionally, to raise supplemental funds that will enhance the educational programs, teacher professional development and facilities at the Preschool in ways that will have a positive impact on our students. We foster a sense of community and belonging for Mayflower Preschool families.
